Lake Lowell is a shallow lake just outside of Nampa, ID that all of the Boise sailors love for its steady breeze. The lake sits out on the plain with nothing to obstruct it, so the wind always comes in unfettered and without a lot of puffiness. But like any lake, it can be anywhere from 5-20k, depending on what day you hit it.
Lake Lowell is rather rustic. There are several campgrounds scattered around the perimeter of the lake. But if you need civilization then Nampa is just a couple of minutes away. Here you have the opportunity to relax with nature and fly a hull without anyone to bother you. Relaxation at its best!!
