Lake Cascade, ID

Lake Cascade is about a couple hours north of Boise, on the way up to McCall and Payette Lake.  It is a large north-south lake that sits under Mt. Cascade and offers some incredibly majestic views.  This lake is not that developed, so it offers the sailor the opportunity to let the hair down, turn off the electronic gadgets, and just relax next to a pristine lake.  Facilities are rather rustic with bathrooms, but not sure about showers.

The winds on Lake Cascade are steadier than your normal mountain lake, but offer enough variability to make the racing and sailing interesting.
