Fernridge Reservoir is located just 20 min. west of Eugene, OR. It has been the site of numerous national championships over the years, owing to its fine facilities and good breeze.
The Eugene Yacht Club, along the western shore of Fernridge, often plays host for many multihull regattas. With a wonderful clubhouse, RV and camping facilities, docks, boat launch area, and huge grassland for rigging, this venue is always a crowd favorite.
The racing is done in the shallow waters off the shore and can range from a light, fickle, lake breeze to full-on double trap conditions. The club does a great job of race management, and this site is one of the more southern sites in the division.
