CJ Strike Reservoir, ID

CJ Strike Reservoir is located on the Snake River about halfway between Boise and Twin Falls, just south of Mountain Home.

The wind can whip through here, so sailors are advised to use caution if the wind is up.  The rest of the time this wide spot in the river behind the dam can offer some awesome reaches with flat water and a good breeze, mostly from the west.
