Quinault delivers again!

I just got home from another great weekend of sailing at Lake Quinault! Yes, the wind gods delivered another great weekend of racing and warm weather for the over 30 boats in attendance. In fact the conditions were perfect for most of the week for the youth camp as well… What a great way to spend time especially after such a long, cold and wet spring!!

Thanks to Charley who was RO for the weekend giving us 9 races overall (5 Sat/ 4 Sun) where the racing was tight and competitive. Well done to Charley and his team!

And the ‘on-shore’ stuff was pretty awesome too! Kudos to Laura and her food service team for an incredible meal on Saturday night (as always!) with some light hearted banter and ‘ceremonies’ before the raffle was held. A great spread of goodies were raffled off to the crowd to the usual hoots, hollars and cat-calls… All in all, a fun time was held by all.

Thanks to J for organizing some pretty cool trophies as well

If you missed it, too bad!! Come next year!!

Next weekend is the Skamokawa regatta. Online registration closes soon, but you can always register onsite Saturday morning.

Registration is also now open for the Harrison Regatta, Sept 3/4. Here is the registration link: https://events.com/r/en_US/registration/2022-harrison-hot-springs-hobie-division-4-championships-harrison-hot-springs-september-845118

See you all there!!
