Hobie Division 4 is pleased to be hosting the Hobie 16 and Hobie 20 North American Championship regatta at one of our favorite locations, Harrison Hot Springs, BC, Canada. Harrison Lake is well known for it’s offshore winds and is a favorite place for sailors and windsurfers alike. The afternoon breeze usually sees winds of 15 knots or more and combined with the flat water of an offshore wind it is a perfect location for Hobie Sailing. The town itself offers many attractions for the visitor from hot spring pools, museums, wine tours, bike rentals and many other attractions within easy walking and driving distance. Located approximately 3 hours north of Seattle, WA, or 90 mins east of Vancouver, BC in the beautiful Fraser Valley it is an easy location to get to. We look forward to being your hosts. 1. I am letting everyone know that if you are thinking about booking a room at the Harrison Beach Hotel, you need to call the Hotel directly to make your reservation. We have all the rooms blocked off for our event at a special rate, but only until March 13th. Before that if you try to book online, there will be no rooms available. As of today, 7 rooms are booked, so make your calls early!

    1. Guaranteed room reservations have now ended a the Harrison Beach Hotel. But don’t dismay, you can still get a room at the group rate. You can visit online or by phoning and use the code: HCR-19. The rooms are now open to the public to book, so they can’t be sure to have them… so book early if you want to stay there!

  2. Thinking of attending the H16 championships with my wife. Seems like a beautiful location race and vacation. I run funtosail.com in Hayden Idaho, a Hobie cat dealership and sailing school.

  3. Just to let you know how much fun we are going to have, here is a video of the band Cousin Harley who will be performing for us on Wednesday night in the Harrison Town Hall. Will food supplied by Memphis Blues BBQ house, it’s going to be a fantastic night! Don’t miss it!
